Mikhail Nikitsenda
Mikhail Nikitsenka was born in 1949 in Belarus. As an economist by main education, he spent most of his career conducting macroeconomic research at the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Science (1971- 1992, Minsk, Belarus) and The World Bank (1992-2008, Washington DC, USA). As an artist, Mikhail Nikitsenka has honed his skills by participating in painting expeditions with artists from the Institute of Arts of the National Academy of Science and by taking various courses in Belarus, USA and Canada. Since moving to Canada in 2008 and settling in Newmarket, Ontario, he has joined the Society of York Region Artists to further improve his art professionalism. Mikhail Nikitsenka works can be found in private collections in Canada, USA, Russia, and Belarus. He participated in a number of exhibitions and art shows and has numerous awards.
