Carol Tremayne is an award-winning Newmarket photographer and painter whose work is inspired by the natural landscape. Her images instill feelings of calm and contemplation that will help the viewer escape to a place away from everyday worries and concerns. She paints in acrylic and oil paint and prefers to print her own photographs.
Carol grew up in Toronto and studied Art at the University of Guelph, Seneca College, York University and Ontario College of Art. Since retiring from teaching she has returned to her love of making art. Her background in Art history has been the catalyst for her travels which are the source of many of her photographs and paintings.
She has exhibited her work in many local Art shows and is a member of the Society of York Region Artists, Richmond Hill Camera Club and Newmarket Group of Artists.
