Welcome to the Society of York Region Artists!
We are a non-profit organization serving all of the nine municipalities belonging to the Regional Municipality of York in Ontario, Canada. Our home base is located in Aurora, Ontario.
For the past 37 years, SOYRA has been offering artists like you the opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork as well as providing a strong base for artists to network and establish friendships with fellow artists and other likeminded creative people.

This past September, SOYRA was please to introduce you to mixed media artist Sharlena Wood. Because of the overwhelming positive response to her presentation and demo, we were pleased to offer members a 1 day workshop with Sharlena! The day was a great experience for everyone who took part and magic was definitely created that day!​​​
